System
Description: Hurricane Service Doors model H3000 are designed to
accommodate the largest of openings. They are built of up to 14 gauge steel
or stainless steel curtains. The individual curtain slat height is 6” and
depth is 1 3/8”. Hurricane Service Doors can be constructed up to 75' in
width and over 100' in height.
 System Advantages:
Hurricane Service Doors are by far the most durable coiling doors
manufactured. They are available in designs that allow them to sustain
extremely high wind loads and heavy impact from flying debris.

 Design Alternatives:
An alternative to the Hurricane Service Door would be aircraft hanger type
doors which are either upward acting, sliding or the jack-knife type. These
alternate types of industrial doors are a more expensive solutions and
typically require a great deal more head room or side room than that which
is required by our Hurricane Service Door.
 Applications:
Hurricane Service Doors are ideally suited for airports, industrial
applications, large warehouse and loading dock facilities as well as
aerospace applications. |
