FIRE & SMOKE RATED DOORS WITHOUT EGRESS

System Description: Model FSFD-STC is an acoustically rated coiling fire door. Acoustical Rated Fire Doors are available in both vertical and side coiling designs. These doors are available with up to a 34 STC rating .

System Advantages: The Acoustical Rated Fire Doors offer the design professional both fire protection as well as sound reduction. These units utilize the Auto-Set® system and, therefore, provide all of the Auto-Set® related benefits.

Design Alternatives: Acoustical Rated Fire Doors require less head room and side room than vertical acting type acoustical doors. They are also self-closing unlike operable walls and therefore avoids duplication in construction. Rather than using an Acoustical Door and a Fire Door, the design professional can simply use one Acoustical Rated Fire Door.
