McKEON® Hosts October Technical Training in Bellport, NY
McKEON® hosted its MCE 102 Technical Training from October 20–23 at the Training Center in Bellport, New York, providing distributor partners with an immersive, hands-on learning experience focused on the proper installation and operation of McKEON® products.
At McKEON®, we recognize that proper installation is just as critical as innovative product design. MCE 102 is designed to build technical expertise, strengthen product knowledge, and help ensure distributor partners have the skills and confidence to install our fire and life safety solutions correctly and efficiently.
Unlike traditional classroom-based courses, MCE 102 is primarily hands-on, with only a brief classroom introduction before participants move into a dedicated installation training environment.
The training begins with an overview of the complete McKEON® product line, including retrofit operators, along with a review of installation manuals. Participants then spend the remainder of the course working directly with McKEON® products, learning the unique operation, functionality, and installation techniques associated with each of the core products on display.
The session kicked off with a Hospitality Meet & Greet, giving attendees an opportunity to connect with fellow industry professionals and the McKEON® team ahead of the training. Later in the week, attendees also participated in a factory tour and barbecue, providing additional opportunities to connect with the team.
