This massive McKEON Auto-Set® Model FSFD overhead coiling fire door at 72 feet wide and 15 feet high is the epitome of a wide-span opening protective! This oversized fire and smoke rated FSFD is located at the King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, it was installed in the Transportation Center at KAIA that houses an aquarium! One of McKEON’s distributors, Virtual Bridge, led by Dani Semaan, worked alongside Dar and their team in Beirut, Lebanon to complete this extensive project!
The McKEON Auto-Set® Model FSFD vertically acting fire door is UL classified for up to four hours in both masonry and dry wall applications and is recommended in situations where fire and smoke protection is required but emergency egress is not an issue, which made it the perfect choice for the KAIA project!
