MCE 102 took place in early October at the McKEON® Corporate Center.
McKEON’s expert product training team gathered at the Corporate Center and Training Facility in Bellport, New York the week of October 7th. Twenty-three attendees from eleven distributorships throughout our valued customer base were in attendance.
McKEON’s proprietary product line requires well-trained and certified personnel to successfully install and operate each listed and labeled technology. The 3 1/2 day comprehensive training began with an introductory classroom session. This was followed by detailed hands-on install and take-down of varied opening protective assemblies. The curriculum also covered fine-tuned instruction regarding operating systems – electrical and mechanical.
The entire class was invited to a guided factory tour. The tour gave each participant the opportunity to meet members of the corporate team from estimating, accounting and expediting. Connecting a name and face with a job description is important. Manufacturer and distributor work together to promote and install our unique proprietary products.
Finally, at the end of a very busy week, each trainee was graded on active participation throughout the course and a final exam the last day.
In addition to the hard work, great food, camaraderie, and fun were had by all!!
