This inverted, insulated wide-span opening protective is the result of a successful collaboration between the customer, our engineering team and distributor Set-Rite Corp. We provided a unique resolve and Set-Rite executed a precise and timely installation despite a challenging time frame.
Originally, the opening was secured by a piece of plate steel. In order to conserve energy, the customer wanted a door with better insulating capabilities that was also easy to operate. Because nothing could be fixed at the header, like a typical coiling door, the customer asked the question – Can we have an inverted, insulated coiling door? Our answer was yes! To top it off Set Rite’s installation team removed the old door system and installed the new wide-span opening protective – all in record time!
