Jeanette Sciacchitano is McKEON’s administrative assistant, distributor support.

Jeanette is one of the newest members of the McKEON team, starting over a year ago. She is responsible for providing administrative support to the distributor network, processing AIA course attendance and credits, organizing McKEON’s various training events, and fielding telephone and website inquiries.

Jeanette assists Production Planning and Logistics Manager Will Elkiki with shipments that require express courier service from McKEON’s headquarters. She is also the distributor’s main contact for any sales and marketing material needs.

Jeanette works closely with McKEON’s AIA Continuing Education Provider program, keeping detailed records of AIA course certifications, issuing AIA member educational credits and certificates, and maintaining course attendance records for the representatives from the distributor network.

Jeanette also runs McKEON’s corporate “Info” email. She communicates daily with architects who have product inquiries for the company, and from contractors asking for information on their local representative or if McKEON would be bidding on a given project.

Jeanette mentioned, “When I first learned about our many distributors across the country and Canada, it seemed like a lot of contacts to get to know, but during my time here, I have been able to create professional relationships with them through their phone calls, emails, and some of them I have even met in person at our trainings”. She went on to say, “I’m happy to pass along sales leads to our distributors and assist with processing the AIA attendance and certificates from the continuing education courses they provide to architects”.

An interesting fact about Jeanette is that she has been a Certified Personal Trainer and Group Fitness Instructor for over 30 years. Throughout her fitness career she became certified in Spin, Pilates, yoga, kickboxing, and kettlebell training. She credits her love for fitness to growing up having an active family and enjoys going on bike rides, hiking, boating, and training at the gym.

Jeanette also has a passion for sewing garments, accessories, and home décor.  Jeanette began sewing at the age of 18 and was a contributor for Sewn Magazine which she appeared in for four years featuring her fashion articles and sewing tutorials. She is also an ambassador for Minerva, a fabric company based in the U.K.  and promotes the company through her blogs on their website showcasing her sewing creations with the use of their fabric.
